I recently stayed at The Threshing Barn at Penrhos Court for a weekend getaway. The hosts Leo and Mouse, along with their human sidekicks Mark and Laura, were incredibly welcoming. The cottage itself was beautifully appointed and spotlessly clean. I loved the location, as it provided a peaceful and lovely atmosphere. The insulation was also excellent, ensuring that I couldn't hear any noise from the other cottages. The little welcome food pack was a thoughtful touch, and I can't wait to come back again soon.
I do recommend this hotel.

Our stay at the Threshing Barn At Penrhos Court was fantastic value for money. The room was amazing and the grounds were like something out of a period drama. The staff were friendly and welcoming, and we loved the presence of the two friendly dogs. it was a special and idyllic experience.
The breakfast experience could be improved with larger bed options, especially for taller guests. It would be great to have super king or king beds in the master bedroom of the 2-bed cottage.

The rooms were spacious and comfortable, with beautiful interior decor. The cleanliness was impeccable and the well-equipped kitchen was a plus. The owners were friendly and the on-site cafe served delicious food with great service. I also enjoyed the peaceful and scenic location, and the fact that there were nearby amenities such as a gastropub and a village with a Co-op for supplies.
The stairs to the second floor were steep and challenging, especially for those with mobility issues. The shower had a narrow spray, making it difficult to get fully wet, and the towels provided were small and thin.

We had an amazing time staying at this beautiful countryside hideaway. The refurbished barn buildings were a fantastic backdrop for our trekking adventure with friends. The accommodation was top-notch, with excellent cleanliness and all the necessary amenities. The kitchen had everything we needed, the beds were super comfy, and the views were stunning. The on-site cafe/restaurant was a great bonus, and we loved the friendly atmosphere and the two adorable dogs in the courtyard. The warm welcome and great service provided by the owners made our stay even more enjoyable.
Felt very homey, no complaints whatsoever.
